I’ve been thinking about some fresh ideas for the children’s church time that has been called “Kids Town” for a few years. I’ve been thinking about a new name and a new look for the fall. I’ve got some ideas, but I’m not quite ready to share them yet… do you have any ideas???
I’m excited about the new Wednesday night activities for all ages starting in December at HND! VERTICAL CHALLENGE will be a time for the whole family to fellowship with others in the congregation, and a great time of digging into the Word. We will also be challenging ourselves and each other to memorize scripture from the book of James.
The children’s VERTICAL CHALLENGE will include weekly tie-ins to real hiking and climbing gear, and the kids will earn points (beads) for attendance, bringing a Bible, and memorizing verses. This will be a great time for our HND kids to invite their friends!
Training for volunteer leaders and teachers for VERTICAL CHALLENGE will be this Wednesday night at the church.

Most of you have met Kip and the boys, but you might not have met Lucy and Caspian yet… Lucy is a Golden Retriever we adopted from the Humane society about 3 weeks ago. Caspian is our new cat that we adopted 1 weeks ago. This photo shows you what they like to do most of the time. They are waiting for you to come visit and pet them!
